Learning to See (LTS) Consulting is a Canadian process improvement professional service firm that specializes in Change Leadership, organizational strategic planning, quality programs, and building organizational internal capacity through training, development and implementation of Quality Improvement using Lean Six Sigma. The LTS change model focuses on the organization understanding who their true customer is and identifying what the customer needs from your organization. This crucial first step creates a foundation for all subsequent transformational activities. The change model then focuses internally with Leadership engagement and training to strategically align the organization with the customer and business needs. Additionally the infrastructure to support change is created and internal capacity building begins.

This focused effort on building your appropriate level of Strategic Leadership, capable internal change agents, change zealots, and comprehensive functional infrastructure ensures sustainability long after LTS's engagement. We believe that you cannot change a culture by banners and inspirational speeches. Culture shifts only happen when you implement congruent systems to support the culture and behaviours desired by the organization. This is where the LTS models focus its energy.

LTS understands that your human resources are precious and taxed and redundant change initiatives do little for staff engagement. Everyone needs to feel as if they are moving forward. We will work with you to identify previous change initiatives successes and create the appropriate starting point for your organization. Utilizing the Lean Six methodology LTS's change model is focused on organizational change by training its own staff to lead and execute learned methods from within an organization long after the contract is over. When the model moves into the diminishing mentorship phase it becomes self-sustaining and dependence on external consultants is lessened. The model has proven very effective whether the organization is looking for a complete restructuring or creation of the quality program or integrating Lean into their existing systems.

Established in 2001, LTS is based in Saskatchewan, Canada and began as a part-time venture for founder, Dale Schattenkirk. But as the demand grew for a process improvement model that was successful in building an organization's internal capacity for Lean Six Sigma, one that was capable of producing qualitative results within a short time frame, the company expanded and was incorporated in 2006.

LTS has become a recognized national leader in the successful deployment of Lean Six Sigma in healthcare and LTS consultants have received several independently recognized awards including: the Lieutenant Governors award, SAHO Green Ribbon Award and Industry Weeks Top 10 Plant.
